How to actually judge a TikTok Shop agency
Before the list, the criteria. TikTok Shop is a different discipline from influencer marketing or paid social, and most agency failures come from hiring a team that is good at an adjacent thing. Five questions separate operators from resellers:
- Do they run the affiliate creator engine, or just ads? Sustainable TikTok Shop revenue comes from a managed base of commission creators producing content weekly. An agency that leads with ad management is skipping the foundation.
- Can they show real Seller Center dashboards? Not testimonials. Dashboards, with GMV, orders, and timeframes.
- How many creators do they activate per month, per brand? Volume drives the algorithm. Listen for hundreds, not dozens.
- Who manages creators day to day? Daily coaching in a community beats a monthly email blast. Ask to see how their creator communities run.
- How many clients per account team? TikTok Shop needs daily attention. A roster of 50+ brands per team means your shop gets a dashboard glance, not management.

The pattern to notice
Most agencies on this list are influencer marketing agencies that added TikTok Shop services as the platform grew. That is not a knock, they are good at what they built for. But running a TikTok Shop is operations: catalog and listing quality, sample logistics, creator vetting and daily coaching, commission and bonus structures, and ad campaigns that only get fed proven content.
