Last updated: June 3, 2026
The Brand Buddies LLC ("The Brand Buddies," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit thebrandbuddies.co (the "Site") or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have, including rights under California law.
1. Who we are
The Brand Buddies is a TikTok Shop agency operated by The Brand Buddies LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of California, United States. We provide affiliate program management, paid media, and TikTok Shop services to brands. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at info@thebrandbuddies.co.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you book a strategy call, fill out a form, or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), business or brand name, website, and any details you share about your business, goals, or current TikTok Shop performance.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our web hosting provider automatically records standard technical log data such as your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit. This data is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.
Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies
We and our advertising and analytics partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on the Site. These include Google Analytics and Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and the TikTok Pixel. They help us understand how visitors use the Site, measure the performance of our advertising, and show you relevant ads on those platforms. These tools may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, the pages you view, and the actions you take, and they may combine it with information the providers already hold about you. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and opt out using the choices described in Section 8.
3. How we use your information
- To schedule, prepare for, and conduct strategy calls and meetings.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request.
- To deliver, maintain, and improve our services and the Site.
- To send you information related to a service you requested, and, where permitted, occasional updates you can opt out of at any time.
- To protect the security and integrity of the Site and our business.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Third-party services we use
We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to run our Site and business. When you use these features, your information is handled under each provider's own privacy policy:
- Calendly - powers our booking page. When you schedule a call, Calendly collects the details you submit. See the Calendly Privacy Notice.
- YouTube / Google - our homepage embeds a YouTube video. If you play or interact with it, Google may set cookies and collect data per the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts - fonts are served by Google, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering them.
- Web hosting provider - our host stores the Site files and server logs needed to keep the Site online and secure.
- Google Analytics & Google Ads - measure site traffic and the performance of our advertising. See the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics opt-out.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel - measures and optimizes our ads on Facebook and Instagram. See the Meta Privacy Policy.
- TikTok Pixel - measures and optimizes our ads on TikTok. See the TikTok Privacy Policy.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, through the advertising and analytics cookies and pixels described above (Google, Meta, and TikTok), we share limited information such as online identifiers, device data, and your activity on the Site with those providers so we can measure and deliver our advertising. Under California law this may be treated as “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information; see Section 8 for how to opt out. Apart from that, we disclose information only:
- To service providers (such as those listed above) who process it on our behalf to operate our business.
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets, subject to this policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to provide our services, and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (see below for how).
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@thebrandbuddies.co with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
How to opt out of advertising cookies and pixels: You can opt out by adjusting your browser cookie settings, by using a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, or through these tools: the Google Analytics opt-out, your Meta ad preferences, your TikTok ad settings, and the industry opt-out pages at optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. You may also email us and we will process your request.
California's “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83) also lets California residents request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, email us at info@thebrandbuddies.co.
9. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT, the Site does not respond to DNT signals. You can opt out of advertising and analytics cookies using the methods described in Section 8.
10. Children's privacy
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International visitors
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed here. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
