Case Study · Big elsewhere, flat on TikTok
$65K to $1M by month 4: 9 figure CPG brand case study
A 9 figure CPG brand that was huge on every other channel and flat on TikTok Shop. By our 4th month running the shop, monthly GMV had gone from $65,459 in July to $1,007,726 in the 30 days to October 25, on 29,646 orders, and that 30 days alone was up 180 percent on the 30 days before it. It is now the #3 shop by GMV in its TikTok Shop category, and the goal is #1 in that category, then #1 on TikTok Shop. $50K+ days are now normal for this shop, and Amazon and Shopify grow with it. Nothing about the product changed.
What normal looks like
$50K a day is normal for us
Hitting $50K a day is normal for us when we scale a brand, and this shop does it consistently, in our 4th month running it. For some category leaders we are hitting $100K+ in a single day. And it does not only lift TikTok Shop sales: Amazon and Shopify grow with it.
- This shop is #3 by GMV in its TikTok Shop category, on the way to #1
- $100K+ in a single day for some category leaders we scale
- The lift does not stop at TikTok Shop: Amazon and Shopify grow with it

The starting point
This brand is not a startup. It does 9 figures a year online, it is a household name in its category, and every other channel it runs is healthy. TikTok Shop was the exception. July closed at $65,459 in GMV on 1,322 orders, and every metric on the dashboard was pointing down: orders off 5.44 percent, customers off 5.08 percent, items sold off 5.24 percent. A flat line with a slight downward tilt.
That is the most common shape we see on large brands. The shop exists, the catalogue is loaded, the product sells everywhere else, and the channel still does nothing. It is almost never a product problem. It is that TikTok Shop pays for creator volume and a big brand's instinct is to treat it like another storefront.
What we did
- Rebuilt the creator base instead of the shop. The listings were fine. What was missing was people making videos, so that is where the work went.
- Recruited at volume and approved 1 by 1. In one 30 day window, 14,159 creators posted content. Every one was matched to the product rather than invited in bulk.
- Ran the community daily. Briefs, coaching on videos that underperformed, and bonuses on top of commission to reward the 2nd and 10th video rather than only the 1st.
- Added LIVE as a standing format. 9,376 LIVE streams ran across the window, up 195 percent.
- Put paid behind proven content only. No cold creative. Ads amplified the videos that were already selling organically.
The results
- $1,007,726.91 in GMV between September 26 and October 25, 2026, up 180.4 percent on the previous 30 days
- 29,646 orders, up 247.67 percent, and 28,617 customers, up 244.7 percent
- 30,909 items sold, up 249.89 percent
- #3 shop by GMV in its TikTok Shop category on October 25, 2026, up 1 place. The goal is #1 in the category, then #1 on TikTok Shop
- $50K+ days are normal now: single days of $53,619.99 on 1,756 orders and $50,354.47 on 1,260 orders, both in the dashboards above
- At earlier checkpoints: $706,936.51 between September 13 and October 12, 2026, on 19,810 orders, $541,764.73 between September 8 and October 7, 2026, on 14,919 orders, $397,458.05 between August 29 and September 27, on 9,692 orders, and $188,244.22 between August 11 and September 9, on 4,228 orders
- 27,908 creator videos in 30 days, up 406.13 percent, from 14,159 creators posting, up 296.17 percent
- $103,138.47 in creator attributed GMV, up 322.62 percent, with 604 creators making sales
Why it worked
Look at the 2 growth numbers side by side. In the latest 30 days GMV rose 180 percent and orders rose 247 percent, which means the shop sold more units at a slightly lower average price rather than the same units to a wealthier buyer. That is what genuine discovery looks like: new people finding the product, not existing customers buying again. Customers rose 244 percent in lockstep with orders, which confirms it.
The creator numbers are the cause and the GMV is the effect. Nearly 28,000 videos in a month is not a campaign, it is a standing community that posts whether or not anyone is running a push that week, and that is the part most brands never build. A seeding list produces a spike. A trained community moves the floor: in the September 8 to October 7 dashboard the quietest days of early October still beat the best days of early September, and $50K+ days became normal.
It also explains why the product never had to change. The brand was already good enough to sell at 9 figures. What it lacked on this channel was volume of people showing it to strangers. The playbook behind that is in our guide to getting affiliates for TikTok Shop and the commission structure that funds it is in our commission rates guide. The service that runs it is our affiliate and creator program.
This brand had awareness we did not have to build. A brand without that recognition takes longer to reach the same curve.
