Real GMV Max overview from TikTok Ads Manager, January 1 to February 24, 2026, untouched. Figures in USD. The brand name is shared on the call. Results are from a specific client campaign, vary by brand, and are not guaranteed.
The starting point
A US DTC brand with a product that had already proven itself on TikTok Shop and a creator library deep enough to feed ads every week. The question was not whether GMV Max worked. It was whether it could carry more than $13,000 a week in spend without the return collapsing, which is where most accounts break.
What we did
- Kept creative supply ahead of spend. New creator videos entered the campaigns weekly so the system always had fresh proven content to spend against at this budget.
- Held the return floor, not a vanity ROI. The target was set from the brand's margin, then budget was raised only while the return held above it.
- Scaled in 20 to 30 percent steps. 3 to 4 days of stabilization per step, decisions on 5 to 6 days of data, one change at a time.
- Read the order count as the scoreboard. 6,047 orders in 8 weeks is a shop acquiring customers at volume, and repeat purchase is where a 1.97x first order return compounds.
The results
- $207,411.82 in gross revenue from GMV Max between January 1 and February 24, 2026
- 6,047 orders at $17.41 cost per order
- $105,296.95 of spend, roughly $13,000 a week, sustained for 8 weeks
- 1.97x return on ad spend, which at the 65 percent margin we hold shops to still leaves contribution on every ad dollar after product cost and fees
Why it matters
This is the honest version of scale. A 4x return on $3,000 of spend is easy to screenshot. Holding a profitable return while spending $105,000 in 8 weeks is what actually builds a brand, because the 6,047 customers it bought keep buying after the ad that found them. The discipline that keeps a campaign like this from tipping into losses is in our GMV Max budget guide, the service that runs it is ads and GMV Max, and the reason the creative never ran dry is our affiliate and creator program.
