The starting point
A supplement brand with a strong product and no TikTok Shop presence. No creator network, no affiliate program, no shoppable content. Supplements are one of the best converting categories on TikTok Shop, but they are also unforgiving: the product is consumable, so sampling costs are recurring, and the content has to do the heavy lifting because a bottle on camera sells nothing by itself.
What we did
- Built the affiliate engine first. Recruited and vetted wellness creators at volume, screening for content quality, niche relevance, and posting consistency rather than follower counts.
- Armed every creator with a real brief. Specific angles, proven hooks for the supplement category, reference videos, and clear CTAs, delivered as a visual deck plus a quick reference one pager.
- Ran the community daily. A managed creator community with daily content direction, feedback on drafts, and visible wins to keep posting rates climbing.
- Rewarded performance on two tracks. Tiered bonuses for GMV generated and for videos posted, on top of competitive commission, so new creators and proven sellers both had a reason to keep publishing.
- Scaled with GMV Max only after organic proof. Ad budget went exclusively behind creator videos that were already converting, scaled gradually with proper stabilization windows.

- £382,765 GMV in the same window
- 16,441 orders from a shop that started at zero
Why it worked
Sequencing. The creator engine was earning before a single ad ran, which meant the ad system had a library of proven content to amplify instead of cold creative to gamble on. Spikes from viral videos were reinvested into more creators and more content, which is what turned a good month into a compounding five month curve.
